NetWinder Wins Industry Award
Corel Computer’s Linux®-powered hardware chosen
best-of-breed

Las Vegas, Nevada-November 19, 1998. Corel Computer is pleased
to announce that its NetWinder’ computer platform, a family of
Linux®-powered thin-clients and thin-servers, won top honors
for new hardware in the Linux Journal’s ‘1998 Editor’s Choice.’
According to the Linux Journal, the award is given in recognition
of truly outstanding products.

‘In a year when so many companies have announced their support
for the Linux operating system, the NetWinder is a platform without
peer. Its unique and powerful design is appealing to a broad range
of Linux users,’ said Marjorie Richardson, Editor of the Linux
Journal. ‘It’s no surprise that the NetWinder is among the circle
of winners in 1998.’
