March 17, 1999 — Linux Today is launching today a new Features
page for original content of interest to the Linux community.

Leading off the first issue is Richard Stallman who will write a
monthly column dealing with Free Software issues. Richard’s first
column is titled ’15 Years of Free Software’.

Sharing top billing is a revealing interview with Corel CEO Dr.
Michael Cowpland by Dwight Johnson titled ‘A Mind for Business: An
Interview with Corel CEO Dr. Michael Cowpland’.

Rounding out our triumvirate of stars, Professor Martin Vermeer,
already known to Linux Today readers for his popular polemics
UNIX as an Element of Literacy and
Linux and Ethnodiversity, has
contributed a new editorial titled ‘Follow the Scientists!’

Linux Today’s original content will now get organized in one
place instead of getting buried in the daily newswire.

The URL for the new page is:

We hope you enjoy these new Features and we look forward to
bringing you many more in the coming months.
