I am initiating the formation of a nonprofit organization,
the Uber
Collective
, to support and represent the Open Source community.
Given the recent rise in commercial interest in Open Source
Software, among many other reasons, I feel that an organization
such as this is needed to keep the community thriving. I need lots
of help from the community if this is to be a reality.
