“Gateway has introduced its first server appliance, the Gateway
Micro Server, a 7.3-inch cube that supports up to 100 users with
shared applications such as Internet services and e-mail.”

“The new server is Linux-based and is said to be able to be
set-up in as little as 30 minutes. It is designed for organizations
lacking the resources to deploy, install, maintain and administer
larger servers.”

“The Micro Server is available in two standard configurations.
The entry level Gateway Micro Server 100, priced at $10,088 (Hong
Kong currency), serves up to 15 users and comes with a 10gigabytes
of Ultra ATA hard drive, 32 megabytes of memory, a 56kbps modem and
a five-port 10/100 Ethernet Switch.”
