“The 7th annual Debian Developers Conference (DebConf6) brought
close to 300 Debian developers, package maintainers, and other
interested parties to Mexico’s government-owned Oaxtepec Vacational
Center last week.

“Admission was free, including lodging and food (and in some
case travel expenses) for those who could not afford to pay their
own way, which meant that almost any active Debian participant who
could get time off from work and was willing to travel to Mexico
was welcome…”
