“NoMachine announces today the fourth preview release of NX 4.0,
the upcoming version of the NX remote access and virtual desktop
software. Preview 4 offers many changes over the previous version,
and also gives NX users the opportunity to test and respond to new
features.

“Here’s a glance at what’s included:

“A completely new look & feel of the GUIs and of the NX
toolbar displayed inside the session makes the NX Player and the NX
Web Player more intuitive and user-friendly.

“Initial support for iOS devices is now available with NX Web
Player.

“Reduced bandwidth usage and increased performance especially
with remote desktop sessions and browser-based sessions.

“Optimized video/audio synchronization even on slower
connections.

“Microphone support quality has been improved. The new NX
toolbar also gives the possibility to adjust the volume of the
remote speakers and microphone.

“Mapping of non-English keyboards inside the session is more
reliable even in remote desktop sessions.”
