II. Continuing where those parts left off, he introduces the
subjects of user, font and printer management in Slackware.

“If you ask any person more or less knowledgeable in
distributions about the most distinctive feature of Slackware, they
will most likely reply ‘the lack of GUI tools.’ They are right in
the sense that there aren’t any Slackware-specific GUI tools, but
you do have graphical administration tools at your fingertips that
might be very useful in the task of administering a system. Let’s
