Open Stack Cloud Goes Global to Draw in Developers, Technologies

The open-source OpenStack cloud effort, hosting its semi-annual summit here this week, is showing off the diversity of its user base and the technologies they employ. OpenStack isn’t a single technology and isn’t a single company either; it’s an open-source collaborative effort that spans the globe. Presenting new user survey data in an analyst and press briefing at the summit, OpenStack Foundation Executive Director Jonathan Bryce detailed where developers are and where OpenStack clouds are being deployed.
