with our customer base. What we found was the perception that Linux
is only for the more technical user, though that actually isn’t the
case, as I’m sure you know. OpenSUSE was conceived and designed to
seed the market with a more usable Linux not only for the server or
technical workstation, but for the desktop as well.

best way to do that is to involve, engage and enlist the developer
community to help us build the best Linux that can be built. To
that end, what we’re doing with OpenSUSE is to build a globally
supported effort to deliver the best Linux experience with what we
