“For the past year or so, Linux has been impossible to miss.
Although you see so much of it in the media, most people don’t
really know how it works. After reading the Halloween documents, I
said ‘that’s the last draw, I’m switching to Linux’.”

“I became aware of two things:”

“Linux is indeed hard to learn (all my years of PC and Mac
experience got me nowhere)”

“I am not claiming that there are few drivers out there, but
that the ones that are available are mostly for devices that
regular people don’t use (but hackers and server maintainers do)
The quality and function of every driver differs way too much.”

“I really think Linux does not stand a chance of making it big
time, even if they already have 17% market share.”
