“Ok, from the title above some Windows supporters might suggest
that there is more than “one” area where Windows is ahead of Linux.
DVD support, a large base of programs, many new technologies that
are available to Windows before Linux (i.e. USB, Firewire,
Bluetooth), and the list goes on. What I want to focus on, is
something you might not think of until you actually use
it.

“Keyboard shortcuts.”

“I know what you might be thinking, “Who cares about keyboard
shortcuts when I have a mouse.” There is nothing more that I like
to use when typing a paper or something else than the right-click
key on a Win95 keyboard. If you have Windows and use Word or Star
Office for a word processor try using it sometime. You will find
that you will save yourself a lot of time by being able to keep
your fingers on the keyboard and not have to reach for your mouse
whenever those red lines appear.”
