Pacific HiTech will release dedicated server version of Linux

The February 9, 1999 “Japan Computers” report, a paid
subscription e-letter, reports that in late March Pacific HiTech
will release TurboLinux Server, a new version of TurboLinux
optimized for Web server applications stability and performance.
The retail price for the new product will be 29,800 yen ($264) and
the academic price will be 19,800 yen ($175).

Oracle Japan, FUJI Software ABC, and Otsuka Shokai have all
announced support for the new product and Pacific HiTech is also
working on hardware bundling deals.
