“Pick a product-any product-and it’s probably making its debut
running on Linux next week.”

“The LinuxWorld Expo in San Jose, Calif., promises more
corporate flavor than last March’s session. IBM, Intel Corp.,
Oracle Corp., Sybase Inc., SAP AG, Motorola Computer Group,
TurboLinux Inc., VA Linux Systems Inc., Caldera Systems Inc. and
Rebel.com, among others, will introduce new products and strategies
aimed at bringing Li-nux to the enterprise.”

“The vendors will bring along users to tell their Linux success
stories, including enterprisewide rollouts from companies such as
Hill House Hammond Ltd., a Bristol, England, insurance company that
has deployed 290 Linux servers to run its corporate network.”
