“LinuxWorld 2006 day 2 is underway. This mornings keynote was
delivered by Kevin Kettler, PhD the CTO of Dell. Overall his
presentation came off pretty well, being the CTO of a company that
isn’t known for it’s huge R&D research effort.

“Much like the over-arching theme of the conference, his
presentation centered around “virtualization” and all it’s benefits
for the near future. After making a fairly good case for better use
of processing (using a dedicated print server as an example of a
machine not making good use of resources) Dr. Kettler went into
providing an example…”
