actions that Red Hat Software is taking to ensure that this
happens.
They talk about some of the new features that will be in Red Hat
Linux 5.2, due out next month (most notably, SMP).
They also mention specifics: “Two newcomers to the PC server
game, Hitachi PC Corp. and Toshiba America Information Systems
Inc., report that Linux is topping the list of Unix versions that
they will support when they reach beyond Windows NT.”
