review activities, but widen it’s scope to address issues such as
open data and open cloud computing and consumer awareness of open
source and the four freedoms. He also sees a role for the OSI in
‘dealing with the open engagement of corporations such as
Microsoft, IBM, Google, Oracle and SAP’ and wants to see expanded
resources to help governments and NGOs adopt open source.”
