piracy that occurs, there’s other things that are lost. Such as
market share for one. While some people might think that market
share isn’t important, it really is. He who is king makes the
rules. We’ve already seen that with Microsoft’s utter dominance of
the desktop market, Cisco’s relative dominance (not so much now,
but certainly at one time) of the network market, and even Oracle’s
dominance of the database market. Market share matters.”
