“Robert Young is the latest Canadian to hit the high-technology
jackpot after Red Hat Inc. soared during its first day of trading
yesterday. Red Hat’s chairman and chief executive officer, a native
of Hamilton, saw the value of his shares climb to $472-million
(U.S.) as Red Hat rose $38.06 to $52.06 on the Nasdaq Stock
Market.”
