wandered about a bit by the machine, waiting for a technician to
come by so I could do that reporter thing. Alas, my little one saw
the nearby pet store’s puppies in the window, and all hopes for
learning more were dashed. Nor did I get the manufacturer’s
name.

“An Internet search at home revealed little, though I did learn
of the 2009 International Photobooth Convention in nearby Chicago
next week.

“Many questions must be answered. This looks like an older
version of Red Hat (points for those who can tell us the exact
version). What software runs on it? Cheese? Or some ancestor of
that photo booth program?”
