“Small-to-mid-size companies can benefit from stable, low-cost
operating system”

“iCorps Technologies, Inc. today introduced a range of new Linux
services designed to help small-to-mid-size companies take
advantage of this popular new operating system. Through its Systems
Solutions Group, iCorps Technologies is now offering Linux
consulting, applications development, installation and support
services.”

“According to Michael Hadley, iCorps president and CEO,
small-to-mid-size businesses can realize cost-savings and
performance improvements from using the Linux operating system as a
Web, database or applications server within a thin-server
environment. ‘Companies supporting more than 25 users need to move
beyond a single server to effectively run their applications,
databases and Web site,’ he said. While they may choose to use NT
or Appleshare as their main network server, a Linux Web, database
and/or applications server costs less than alternative operating
systems with equal, or in some cases, better performance.'”
