availability of the industry’s first mobile and embedded database
for Linux, Sybase(R) SQL Anywhere(TM) Studio. With the same robust
features and full technical support of SQL Anywhere Studio’s other
core platforms, Sybase’s Linux version leverages Linux’s
enterprise-class reliability and performance on low-cost hardware,
such as workgroup servers, monitoring systems, edge servers or
point-of-sale devices. More than 1,000 customers and partners
participated in Sybase’s beta program, demonstrating significant
demand for its industry-leading mobile and embedded database
solution to power enterprise applications on the Linux
platform.”
