“Continuus Software…a leading provider of eAsset management
solutions, announced today its plans to provide support for Linux.
Continuus is currently porting the Continuus Change Management
Suite to Red Hat…Linux 6.1, the latest version of the Red Hat
Linux operating system. Continuus will provide both client and
server support for Red Hat Linux, enabling Continuus customers to
take advantage of the power of open source software, especially in
the demanding Internet server environments in which Linux is most
widely used.”

“Due to its stability and power, we’ve seen a great deal of
interest in IT shops wanting to use Linux to meet the unique
development demands of Internet and enterprise server
environments,” said John Wark, Continuus President & CEO. “We
decided to support Red Hat Linux because it is the market leader
and because our customers have indicated that Red Hat is the
predominant version of Linux in use at their companies. The
decision underscores our two overriding goals as a company — to
stay on top of cutting edge technology and to listen to and support
our customers with the latest solutions they need for
success.

“Continuus/CM support for Red Hat Linux is currently scheduled
for Q1 2000 availability. Continuus will provide both client and
server support for Red Hat Linux 6.1, the latest version of the Red
Hat Linux operating system.”
