“RSA Security Inc. (Nasdaq: RSAS) today announced that the
NetMAX division of Cybernet Systems Corporation, the developer of a
popular line of easy-to-use and install Linux-based products,
has licensed RSA BSAFE Crypto-C security software for inclusion
in its NetMAX family of Internet appliance software.
NetMAX
reinforces its strong position for meeting the security and
connectivity needs of its customers by incorporating RSA Security
encryption software into the NetMAX FireWall ProSuite, NetMAX
Internet Server ProSuite, NetMAX Professional Suite and NetMAX VPN
Server Suite.”

“Many NetMAX customers, and the resellers that support these
customers, need a secure method for managing their servers,” said
Rob Falkner, Cybernet’s director of marketing for NetMAX. “Adding
RSA Security-enabled SSL and SSH capabilities to the NetMAX
products allows us to provide a proven and secure solution that
addresses this growing need in the marketplace.”

“By relying on RSA Security components, NetMAX is able to offer
secure business solutions that deliver the power of the Linux
operating system,” said Scott Schnell, senior vice president of
marketing at RSA security. “We are pleased that NetMAX quickly and
easily implemented the RSA Security software products into its
development process, resulting in a trusted and reliable security
foundation.”
