“Lutris Technologies, the primary sponsor of Enhydra, the
leading Open Source Java/XML application server, and Palm Reach,
the leading content provider for wireless devices announced today
that Palm Reach used Enhydra to develop software that provides
content to state-of-the-art browser-enabled cell phones and other
wireless devices for professionals who need instant news and
information wherever they are. Enhydra XMLC provided Palm Reach
with a device-independent framework for supporting multiple
Wireless Application Protocol (WAP) products.”

Enhydra XMLC is a Lutris Open Source technology for
building Web application presentations based on the Internet
standard XML.
Palm Reach leverages pure XML presentation
information with device-specific descriptions to support each
display device. The integration of these technologies provides
mobile users with a WAP-phone or other Internet-enabled device
access to a wealth of information at the Palm Reach site.”

“Palm Reach’s wireless device application is another great
example of how Enhydra is being deployed to solve real-world
wireless needs,” said Yancy Lind, CEO and President of Lutris
Technologies. “It’s proof that Enhydra and XMLC deliver the
features to develop and deploy revolutionary applications.”
