“LSF Suite to Extend Operating System Support to Include
Upcoming Linux Release.”

“Linux is increasingly important to organizations looking for a
small, reliable, high performance platform for server-centric
applications,” said Dan Kusnetzky, program director of
International Data Corporation’s operating environments and
serverware research. “One of the barriers to Linux’s success has
been a general lack of serverware software making it difficult to
build highly available, highly scalable Linux oriented solutions.
The combination of Platform Computing’s serverware software, LSF
Suite, and Red Hat’s Linux 6.0 can remove those barriers.”

“Linux currently represents an increasing percentage of
Platform’s EDA installed base. Today, more than 40 per cent of
Fortune 1,000 companies in the EDA market are Platform customers
and five of the seven Fortune 1,000 semiconductor companies are LSF
users.
