Red Hat, Inc. Errata Advisory

Synopsis: linuxconf update fixes various errata
Advisory ID: RHEA-1999:060-01
Issue date: 1999-12-15
Updated on: 1999-12-15
Keywords: linuxconf
Cross references:

1. Topic:

New linuxconf packages are available to fix various bugs in the
version of linuxconf shipped with Red Hat Linux 6.1.

2. Relevant releases/architectures:

Red Hat Linux 6.1, Intel and Sparc
Red Hat Linux 6.0, Intel, Sparc, and Alpha

3. Problem description:

Several bugs have been fixed in a new release of linuxconf. The
most important change for system administrators is that linuxconf
now sets up mail servers with relaying turned off; it used to
default to on, though it gave the option to turn relaying off. The
Samba, Apache, and DNS configuration modules have been much
improved in this version of linuxconf, as well, and several smaller
nuisances have been fixed.

4. Solution:

For each RPM for your particular architecture, run:
rpm -Uvh
where filename is the name of the RPM.

5. Bug IDs fixed (http://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/
for more info):

2420, 2865, 3160, 4648, 4783, 4790, 5568, 5682, 5737, 6089,
