Red Hat revamps its FTP server

Red Hat announced today that its FTP server is now four FTP
sites rolled into one:

  • contrib.redhat.com–software packaged by Red Hat users
  • incoming.redhat.com–input depot for user-packaged RPMs
  • updates.redhat.com–security fixes, bug fixes and official Red
    Hat updates
  • ftp.redhat.com–download Red Hat Linux and distributions in
    development (e.g., Rawhide) here

Inquiries about the new site should be addressed to ftp.redhat.com.
