“Hummingbird Communications Ltd… today announced it has joined
Red Hat, Inc.’s Independent Software Vendor Program (ISV) and will
participate in joint marketing activities with the developer and
provider of open source operating systems. The new relationship
will give Linux users easy access to all of Hummingbird’s fat
client connectivity products…”

“Hummingbird and Red Hat will initially participate in a number
of key, joint marketing activities to illustrate the benefits and
power of connecting to Linux-based hosts with Hummingbird’s leading
PC X, Terminal Emulation and NFS solutions.”

“This partnership makes Hummingbird the first major connectivity
vendor to enter into the Linux marketplace and is the foundation of
our Linux strategy,” said Gary Tyreman, Senior Director of
Connectivity Product Marketing.”
