S.u.S.E. GmbH announced today on the suse-announce list the
founding of a special publishing house for Linux titles and invited
prospective authors to present their proposals.

Liebe Linux-Anwender,

zum Jahresbeginn hat SuSE einen speziellen Verlag für Linux-Titel
gegründet. Mit einem eigenständigen Verlagsprogramms möchte SuSE allen
Linux-Interessierten praxisnahes Know-how aus erster Hand bieten.

Hiermit sind alle Autoren, die "ihr Linux-Buch" gemeinsam mit
SuSE realisieren möchten, eingeladen, sich mit Nicolaus Millin in
Verbindung zu setzen und ihre Vorstellungen darzulegen.

Bislang verantwortlich beim Carl Hanser Verlag für die Informatik-Titel,
konnte mit Nicolaus Millin eine erfahrene und fachlich kompetente
Persönlichkeit für die Programmplanung des neuen Verlages gewonnen werden.
Die ersten Buchtitel, so die ehrgeizige Planung, sollen bereits im Herbst
auf der Frankfurter Buchmesse vorgestellt werden.
