Technologies, a San Diego software-development firm. The company
has created Switchvox, a voice-over-Internet-protocol-capable PBX
phone system for small-to medium-sized businesses. The system is
built on open standards and open-source software. Stephens
previously worked at MP3.com, where he developed data management
systems. While at MP3.com, he was awarded a patent for a system of
providing access to electronic documents over a network. Before
