“Jane Silber, CEO of Canonical, the corporate sponsor of the
Ubuntu Linux Operating System, set to give one of the two keynotes
at the Southern California Linux Expo (SCaLE 9x) in Los Angeles, CA
from February 25-27, 2011

“Silber’s keynote is titled “Cloud for Human Beings”. The
foundation of Silber’s career comes from her beginnings as a
software developer and continues to build on that foundation
through her years of business development, strategy, operations and
product development experience. As Canonical’s Chief Operating
Officer she lead the Ubuntu One project and ensured large
organizations found Ubuntu “enterprise-ready”. Currently Silber is
the CEO of Canonical.”
