In the last week we’ve restarted a discussion we had a
while ago about the place of Linux in the home-schooling
movement….

“Our own Jeff Elkner is showing up in a number of unexpected
places, most recently in this interview by O’Reilly’s Editor in
Chief, Frank Willison. Frank became interested in Jeff and his
students because of a talk Jeff gave about using Python in a high
school computer science program….”

“This week we want to bring Groupe Guilde Éducation to
your attention. This is the education working group of the
Groupement des Utilisateurs Linux du Dauphiné, the Linux
organization from the Dauphiné region of France. GUILDE has
been around for a while, and does good work in promoting
Linux.”
