“So, there you are, happily browsing the web, surfing
cyberspace on your Linux box, thinking that you have all of the
tools to take you into the twenty-fifth century (or at least into
next week) when… What?! You don’t have flash installed?!

Lucky for you that we’ve got the good people at Macromedia making
our lives simple.”

“The first thing you have to do is go to the Macromedia download
site. That’ll be http://macromedia.com/downloads. From there, click
on the Flash Player link… Click on the Download Now button to
download Flash. Take note of the directory into which it is
downloaded.”

“Of course, it comes compressed in a tarball to speed up the
download. You need to untar it before you can install it.”
