“The Register recently ran an article in which a marketing
director claimed that Transmeta’s Crusoe isn’t fully
x86-compatible. We at Signal Ground don’t think this matters
much….”

But comments like this miss a bigger point: if there is a
problem with Transmeta’s x86 compatibility, it can be remedied
without an Intel-sized fix.
All that a Transmeta chip would
require is a “code morphing” software update….”
