Right! Well, the last Solus ISO release, version 1.2.0.5, was published on September 7, 2016, and boy it did not disappoint. The ISO image shipped with dozens of new packages, an updated GNOME 3.20 Stack, the latest stable Linux 4.7.2 kernel, GCC 6.1.0, and a much-improved Budgie desktop environment. But, let’s face it, we’re all waiting for Solus 1.2.1, to ditch our current Linux-based operating system and migrate to the wonderful world of Solus where you’ll get the latest software releases and GNU/Linux technologies faster than any other distro. Why? Simply because it introduces the long anticipated full-disk encryption support.
