developing professional Linux certification, is charging ahead with
a comprehensive Linux certification program: the Linux Certified
Professional.

“Caldera says this is a natural succession to its own
certification program. Caldera’s Benoy Tamang, VP of Marketing
comments, “It was our initiative, Caldera brought together Evan
Leibovitch, LPI Executive Director (and ZDNet Linux contributing
editor), and Dan York, Board Chair, physically together for the
first time to have them work on this project.”

“But, it’s not a Caldera show. It’s an independent
effort…”
