“On April 17, Caldera Systems Inc., a major Linux distributor,
took one giant step toward delivering complete Linux ASP/e-commerce
solutions: OpenLinux eBuilder. This package includes IBM’s
WebSphere application server and Evergreen’s ECential 3.0 Open
Commerce Framework.”

By using WebSphere as its application server and Open
Commerce Framework for e-commerce and ASP services, Caldera hopes
to have moved into the lead of not only Linux e-business
applications, but general e-business packages as well.
