“If you can’t beat them, join them. That’s one take on Santa
Cruz Operation Inc. (SCO), with its successful and widely praised
OpenServer and UnixWare operating systems, coming together with
TurboLinux to provide Linux Professional Consulting Services
offerings for the Linux power’s TurboLinux operating system.”

“But that’s not SCO’s view of the world. TurboLinux will be
using SCO Professional Services to market and deploy its flagship
TurboLinux operating system. In return, SCO potentially gains more
profit for its professional services cost center…

“However, at the same time, SCO is no newcomer to Linux. Besides
its October investment in LinuxMall and decision to start
supporting Linux deployments via the SCO Professional Services
group in August, SCO was a founding member of Linux
International.”
