“Sun Microsystems’ Microelectronics group has announced that it
has teamed with the Linux community to equip systems integrators
with the ability to build powerful yet low-cost Linux as well as
Solaris solutions based on the SPARCengine UltraAXi board.

“Powered by UltraSPARC-IIi processors, the SPARCengine UltraAXi
board coupled with the Linux operating system provides systems
integrators with a new cost, performance and scalability option
that is ideal for building systems targeted at small and medium
Internet service providers (ISPs).”
