What is it?
With the same robust features and full technical support of Sybase's
other core database (Adaptive Server Enterprise), SQL Anywhere for Linux
is designed to leverage Linux's enterprise-class reliability, ease of
administration and performance on low-cost hardware, for applications
such as monitoring systems, edge servers or point-of-sale devices. SQL
Anywhere for Linux provides Linux developers with Sybase's
industry-leading small footprint database including database rich
functionality such as:

   * Stored Procedures and Triggers
   * Java support for logic and datatypes
   * Row-Level locking

The following SQL Anywhere features coupled with the Linux platform,
provide the solution for developers whose database projects require
sophisticated functionality on a limited budget.
