“Debian 2.2r3 is the lastest stable release of the Debian/GNU
Operating System. It was released on April 17th, 2001. Debian,
unlike some of the other Linux vendors has a much slower release
process in which it makes sure that its product is stable. Debian
GNU/Linux is a free Linux system. It is developed by roughly 500
volunteers from all over the world who collaborate together by the
net. Debian’s dedication to free software, and the fact that it is
completly non-profit set itself away from all other GNU/Linux
distributions.”
