“The Cape Town leg of the LinuxWorld and Futurex computer shows
will not happen this year. Organisers Exhibitions for Africa, after
surveying exhibitors, have decided to postpone the show to
September 2006. The LinuxWorld show, licenced from IDG, was to be
staged alongside Futurex as it was in Johannesburg earlier this
year.“In an email to exhibitors last week organisers said that
‘whilst some of our clients wished the event to take place in
September this year, they accepted that we need a critical mass of
exhibitors to make the show a success…'”
