Tectonic: Sita Tender Postponed to Valentine’s Day

“The State Information Technology Agency (Sita) will release
results of South Africa’s biggest open source tender on 14
February. Sita officials said the announcement has been delayed two
weeks from its 31 January target date due to ‘procedural’
reasons.

“The government called for bids in October last year for the
procurement of an open source distribution and related software
services over the next three years…”
