would recommend it to a beginner. You suggest at the end of the
article that you’re going to go on and install other distributions
Red Hat and Mandrake were both mentioned. Either of these
would be a sensible choice but make sure you try Knoppix. Debian is
at one end of the installation-ease scale and Knoppix (which is
