“SCO’s complaints shift, twist, and change shape like schizoid
illusions or the tortured, restless dreams of drug induced
hallucinations. Opium, heroin, LSD, mescaline, peyote, strong
hashish and cannabis, all these mind bending substances come to
mind. Or maybe, money is the real drug, or perhaps it’s lust for
power, whatever the cost, not uncommon now.

“First it was breach of contract by IBM, allegedly — but Linux
wasn’t a target. Yet Linux… they’re all merely careless amateurs,
allegedly… writing a bicycle, nothing to compare with serious
software, likened to a big car. Then, Linux was implicated,
allegedly — not anything that’s in the kernel itself, just code on
the periphery. But Open Source, well that’s suspect perhaps
subversive, allegedly — call the RIAA and MPAA! Then it’s the
Linux kernel in massive copyright infringement, allegedly
facilitated by IBM. Hundreds of files, allegedly. Then there’s also
the GPL that protects Linux, that’s obviously invalid, allegedly…
nothing but copyright is legal and all software licenses are
invalid, allegedly. Now its all of Linux 2.4, a million lines,
allegedly. And then too, all opposition is due to a grand
conspiracy organized by IBM, allegedly…”
