The Oregonian: OSU Open Source Founders Leaving

“The founders of Oregon State University’s Open Source Lab are
leaving the organization to run a Portland startup, the school
announced Thursday, creating a void at the top of one of the
state’s best-known open source organizations. Scott Kveton and
Jason McKerr started the lab in 2003, helping build Oregon’s
reputation for open source activity. The OSU lab hosts the
kernel–the core software–of the Linux operation system and the
infrastructure for the Mozilla project, which maintains the free
Firefox Web browser…”
