“SuSE has long been my favorite distribution. To me it
represents one of the best values in the Linux world. The
boxed version of SuSE generally sells for about $30.00 USD and
includes 6 CDs (or one DVD) packed full of over 1500 packages. SuSE
is fairly easy to install and maintain and it has an excellent
configuration/maintenance tool called Yast (Yet Another Setup
Utility). I last reviewed SuSE 6.3 in December. Although I liked
SuSE 6.3 I gave bad marks to SuSEs new GUI installer called Yast2.
SuSE 6.4 once again includes Yast2 as the default installer with
improvments.”
