Tonight LIVE on www.thelinuxshow.com

At 6pm pst, 7pm rmt, 8pm cst, 9pm east and 1am GMT Kevin, Jeff,
PJ, Emmett (of Slashdot.org) and Doc Searls (of the Linux Journal)
have a educational show lined up tonight on The Linux Show!!

In Segment One- News: As usual we will be
covering the hot linux news of the week; including an update on the
DeCSS controversy.

In Segment Two- 3wave: we will be joined by
Dave McAllister the Director of SW for 3ware. Dave is well known
for driving Linux into SGI’s system plans. He is now doing the same
for 3Ware.

With a passion for forward thinking solutions, 3ware is
developing high-performing, fault-tolerant controllers that work in
the Linux environment. 3ware has created a new I/O architecture
that increases performance while lowering the cost of storage
subsystems. 3ware’s current line of Escalade controllers allow IDE
drives to outperform SCSI systems.

In Segment Three- Planning a good LUG Event
Come join the discussion (on IRC) on HOW TO plan
and host a killer Linux Event. Dave McAllister is also known for
his experience at planning a user group function , so he is going
to hang out and be a part of our panel, as we explore this issue.
If you were listening last week you heard all about how “not to” do
an even, tonight we delve into proper planning and some of the
resources that are available to LUGS for planning events. We will
also be joined by Kara Pritchard the leader of the LUG section of
the community web site linux.com

Remember tune in at 6pm pst, 7pm rmt, 8pm cst, 9pm east and 1am
GMT.
