Tonight LIVE on www.thelinuxshow.com:

At 6pm pst, 7pm rmt, 8pm cst, 9pm east and 1am GMT Kevin, Arne,
Jeff, PJ and Doc Searls (of the Linux Journal) have a controversial
show lined up tonight on The Linux(r) Show!!

In Segment One- News: As usual we will be covering the hot linux
news of the week.

In Segment Two- LPI: Dan York & Evan Leibovitch of the Linux
Professional Institute will be joining us. Our own Kevin
Hill
had the opportunity to sit down last month and take the
first two exams from LPI. We will be discussing the future of the
LPI, and the interesting mix of opinions coming from hackers.

In Segment Three- Linuxcare: We will be talking with David Sifry
Linuxcare’s CTO and Co-founder about the events of the
last few weeks and the the new future of Linuxcare moving
forward.

Editors Note:Several of the people on the editorial panel at
GeekCast have thought that there has been a great amount of trashy
journalism and down right tabloid behavior with the events
following Linuxcare as an organization. As a linux media outlet we
felt it important that Linuxcare be given the opportunity to
address the community without going through the filter of a
reporter.

Please join us for what we believe will be an informative
program, as well as an important conversation about the future of
Linuxcare and problems with media hype we are experiencing as a
community.

Remember tune in at 6pm pst, 7pm rmt, 8pm cst, 9pm east and 1am
GMT.
catch the Linux show at www.thelinuxshow.com.
