Trinity Desktop Environment (TDE) is supported in popular GNU/Linux distros like Debian, Ubuntu, Fedora, openSUSE, PCLinuxOS, CentOS, Q4OS, SparkyLinux, and Red Hat Enterprise Linux, and the 14.0.4 release comes eight months after the previous maintenance update, version 14.0.3, with numerous improvements and bug fixes. Prominent new features include support for the CUPS 2.2 printing system series, support for the FFmpeg 3.x multimedia backend series, support for GCC 6.x compiler series, support for the GStreamer 1.x multimedia framework series, as well as support for the RAR 5.x archiving tool.
